In this regard, according to statistical magazine 1999-2000. There are few medium scale units in the district. Among the medium scale industries prominent are Shri Hanuman Industry, Alaknanda Cement pvt. Ltd., Agarwal Aluminum Industry and Laxmi Business promotion pvt. Ltd. These industries manufacture mainly aluminum utensil, cement and iron pipes etc. worth Rs. 1.6 crores per annum.

The Chandauli district has an important place in the country for handicraft. The industries of the district has provided employment to large number of workers. About 6 percent handicraft workers of the state are found in the district. Banarasi sarees, Jari and Jardozi., ornaments, wooden toys and artistic stone material are the main articles of handicraft units.
